As per Kate Beckinsale’s Instagram post, the veteran actress passed away on July 15, 2025. She further stated that she was only posting this because she had to register the latter’s death certificate.
“She died the night of July 15th in my arms after immeasurable suffering. I have not picked all the best photos, nor the best videos, because I cannot bear to go through my camera roll yet.” Beckinsale wrote about her mother’s death.
The Total Recall actress’ post also contained many photos and videos of her mother. Judy Loe was predominantly known for her work on television. Some of her notable works include The Chief and Yesterday’s Dreams.
Kate Beckinsale further wrote, “I deeply apologise to any of her friends who are finding out this way or through the press, but I cannot go through her phone. I am paralysed. Jude was the compass of my life, the love of my life, my dearest friend.” She added, “The vastness and huge heart of this tiny woman has touched so many people who love her dearly.”
The 51-year-old actress concluded the post with a personal message to her mother, saying, “This has been my greatest fear since finding my father dead at five, and I am here. Oh my Mama.. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I am so sorry.”
Many fans have also paid tribute to Judy Loe on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) since the news broke out.
