Sydney Sweeney responded to comments about her limited-edition bathwater soap that will be available to purchase on Friday, June 6. At her latest movie Echo Valley’s premiere, she talked to PEOPLE about the soap’s creation.

When the publication said, “The internet was either all for it with some saying ‘whatever makes men take showers,'” The White Lotus star agreed, saying, “I mean, honestly though.” In another chat with E! News, Sweeney disclosed that the quirky bathwater soap was actually her idea. “I pitched it,” she remarked.

The 27-year-old Madame Web star announced the launch of her limited edition Dr. Squatch soap on May 29. In an Instagram post, Sweeney gushed, “You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it. Introducing Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater.” The actress revealed that the soap will be available on the official website of Dr. Squatch.

As per the official description of the Sydney Sweeney soap, it is a perfect combination of “The outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub.” It further reads, “Experience the ultimate blend of outdoor serenity with refreshing notes of pine, Douglas fir, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney’s very own bathwater.”

The bathwater soap is priced at $8, and every customer can only purchase one till the stock lasts. The scent of the soap is described as Sydney’s “Bathwater Bliss.” On a more curious note, the description notes it smells like “Morning Wood.”

Meanwhile, netizens have mixed opinions regarding Sweeney’s new soap, with many drawing comparisons to Gwyneth Paltrow’s famous Goop products. One Reddit user noted, “Legally you can’t actually sell sanitary  products unless they are clean. So it’s just an ad hook. Though I’d imagine she helped pick the scent.”

Another user theorized, “Realistically it’s bathwater that’ll be purified to the point that it’s just “normal” water. A gimmick that’s going to sell millions of units.”
