Laura Ingraham Addresses Her Hand Injury

Laura Ingraham, Fox News’ conservative anchor and the host of The Ingraham Angle, was seen on the show with a bandaged thumb. She eventually explained what had happened and how she had sustained the injury.

Here’s what happened to Laura Ingraham’s hand

Ingraham explained that she sustained the injury in an incident involving one of her dogs, Annie. “Most importantly, and I know this is why you are tuning in,” she said, before pointing toward her hand and saying, “What the heck happened?”

The anchor continued, “You see me post a lot of photos of my dogs. I love my dogs so much — Annie and Zoey. Someone needed a walk, a better walk than they had earlier in the day. So, I decided to take the dog to the park.” Ingraham disclosed that the dog in question was Annie, who loves baseballs. “Lots of baseballs,” she explained, “And I love throwing baseballs. Unfortunately, she likes to rip the cover off the baseball and then eat the baseball.”

Ingraham disclosed that her injury occurred when she tried to pull the baseball cover from her dog’s mouth. She elaborated, “And she [Annie] just wanted to chew that cover, and it [likely one of the dog’s teeth] went right there. And I looked down, and it was opening up, deep in the subcutaneous.” Ingraham realized that it didn’t look good. Eventually, she received five stitches.

Ingraham blames herself for the incident. “It’s fine. Annie’s worth it,” she said. “It was my stupidity.”

Since Ingraham has shared the video on social media, messages of a speedy recovery have poured in.

Notably, Ingraham has been in relationships with George Conway and Dinesh D’Souza. She is a single parent and has three adoptive children. Her eldest, Maria, is from Guatemala. Ingraham adopted her in 2008. A year later, she adopted Michael Dmitri, a boy from Russia. In 2011, she adopted another boy from Russia, named Nikolai Peter.
