Kim Kardashian once made a “drug run” for a friend. The confession from the reality TV star emerged in the latest episode of The Kardashians, where she visits the Growlersburg Conservation Camp to chat with inmates. During a roundtable conversation, the entrepreneur shares why she decided to be a part of prison reform projects.
Kim Kardashian details her drug story
Kim Kardashian has been open about her wild past that included fetching a specific drug for her friend, which could have gotten her in “trouble.” While talking about how she chose to be in prison reform, the former wife of Kanye West recalled, “I went to a woman’s prison [California Institution for Women].
I sat in a room like this, and this one girl was like, ‘My boyfriend had me go get drugs or pick something up at this apartment. I didn’t know that some s**t was gonna go down and someone died.'”
Listening to that story made the beauty mogul realize that something similar had happened to her as well. She explained, “And I thought to myself, ‘Oh, my God. One time, my friend had me go pick up ecstasy at this apartment and what if something happened?’”
The realizations also made her acknowledge her own privilege. Kardashian continued, “I thought to myself, ‘If some s**t went down, I would’ve been able to call my dad, and he would’ve helped me.’ And these people didn’t have that. I really thought to myself, like, ‘This is so crazy. These people need help.’”
Kim Kardashian’s shocking story sent her other sisters into a frenzy. Kendall Jenner, who listened to the story, added, “She is so Elle Woods right now,” referencing the pop flick Legally Blonde.
This isn’t, however, the first time that Kim Kardashian has opened up about drugs. Previously, she talked about ecstasy in a 2018 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The mother of four disclosed to the world that she was high on ecstasy when she tied the knot with the music producer Damon Thomas. She was 19 at that time. “I did ecstasy once, and I got married,” she explained, adding, “I did it again; I made a sex tape. Like, everything bad would happen.” (via CNN)
