Taylor Swift Got A Radio Host Fired, Says He Touched Her Butt

David Mueller, former co-host of “Ryno and Jackson” (he was Jackson) on Denver’s radio station KYGO, is suing Taylor Swift after she and her staff had him fired for allegedly touching her butt during a 2013 backstage meet and greet. He says it’s bullshit. Also, for the record, this is what Taylor Swift’s butt looks like.

The incident in question happened June 2, 2013, when Mueller was invited, as part of his then-job at 98.5 KYGO on the “Ryno and Jackson” morning show, to meet and greet Swift backstage. According to the suit, Mueller posed with Swift and his girlfriend, Shannon Melcher. After some small talk, “Swift suddenly announced it was picture time” and “quickly put her right arm” around Melcher. Mueller jumped into the photo “at the last second.” Swift cordially thanked the couple and they left, the suit said. After the photograph, Mueller, in the suit, said he met a co-worker who “excitedly told him about his experience meeting Ms. Swift earlier that night.” The co-worker “described and demonstrated how he had put his arms around her, hands on her bottom,” according to the filing. Later, as Mueller and Melcher were inside the Pepsi Center, they were approached by a Swift security team member named Craig. The security member accused Mueller of grabbing Swift’s bottom earlier in the night. Security members surrounded the couple, verbally abused them and escorted them to an exit door, according to the suit. Mueller, who denies the allegations, was fired on June 4, 2013. “Mueller steadfastly maintains that no inappropriate contact of any kind occurred between him and Ms. Swift,” the filing said.

Mueller claims he’s already taken and passed a lie detector test, which Swift refuses to take. He also claims her parents and a member of her staff called the radio station repeatedly and demanded they take action with not so very thinly veiled threats against the entire radio station. Not really sure how much of this is true, but if this or this is any indication, they probably made the calls while rappelling off the radio station’s roof.
