Taylor Swift Beats Sabrina Carpenter To Lead iHeartRadio Music Awards Nominations

In true showgirl fashion, Taylor Swift is dominating the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards with nine nominations. Sabrina Carpenter, Alex Warren, and Bad Bunny follow close behind Swift with eight nominations each. With the release of her twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” Swift is all set to top the awards races yet again.

Taylor Swift receives nine nominations at 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift is notably contending for the coveted artist of the year award at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards. She has won the award for the past two years. Other artists nominated in that category this year are Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Tate McRae, Benson Boone, Chris Brown, Jelly Roll, Kendrick Lamar, and Morgan Wallen.

Swift is nominated for Song of the Year for her chart-topping hit, “The Fate of Ophelia.” She has previously won in that category in 2015 for “Shake It Off,” and in 2024 for “Anti-Hero.” This year, she is competing against Boone, Doechii, SZA, Carpenter, Wallen, Leon Thomas, Myles Smith, Shaboozey, and Warren.

The “Look What You Made Me Do” singer is one of the nominees for pop artist of the year. “The Fate of Ophelia” is also contending for pop song of the year. Further, it has nominations in fan-voted categories, such as best lyrics, best music video, and favourite TikTok dance.

If all this is not impressive enough, Swift’s Disney+ concert movie “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” is competing in the favorite on-screen category. Meanwhile, Swift also has a nomination for the Favorite Tour Style award, thanks to her unique wardrobe for “The Eras Tour.”

The iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 will honor the most-played songs and artists across iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2025. This year, it will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 26 on Fox. It will give a preview of the upcoming hits of 2026.
