A New Video Game Expo is Coming to London Along with Various Famous YouTubers

A brand new video game expo is set to come to London, in what could be the only gaming event to take place in the capital this year after EGX was moved to the second-city, Birmingham.

Legends of Gaming Live will feature playable demos of upcoming games with Nintendo, 2K and Konami confirmed for the event, though it seems to have a strong focus upon the famous faces of the YouTube gaming world. With the likes of Syndicate, Calfreezy, Ali-A and Wroetoshaw confirmed to appear at the expo, its first advertisement largely focuses upon the various shenanigans these YouTube personalities will be getting up to. This means that there there will likely be lots of screaming, exaggerated reactions and opening of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team packs.

It’s clearly aimed at a younger audience, but if you live in/near London then this could be your one chance of going to a gaming event this year, and it should at least have a variety of new games to try out. If you manage to avoid the inexplicably loud bellows of the YouTubers and the young audience they’ll inevitably attract, then it may be worth a look.

Legends of Gaming will take place between Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6, with tickets starting at £21.99. There are also VIP tickets that will afford you a meet and greet session with the YouTubers, though these are being sold for an extortionate £129.99.
