The set of Friends will be faithfully recreated in London as Comedy Central brings its new “FriendsFest” to the capital for the very first time.
The Friends festival will see a full scale set of Monica’s apartment, a number of props and memorabilia from the show and a “Central Perk inspired café” all makes their way to The Boiler House on Brick Lane, with there also being Instagram photo opportunities for visitors thanks to the orange sofa/water fountain set-up from the show’s opening sequence also being recreated.
None of the Friends will actually be there, of course, but if you feel your social media game has been lacking recently then a quick way to bump up those likes would surely be to take yourself and a smattering of your buddies to Brick Lane, before recreating famous scenes from the show such as that time they played poker, or that time Ross and Rachel went out for a bit, then stopped going out, then went out again, then stopped going out, then went out again.

The FriendsFest has been organised in order to celebrate the show airing for another 4 years exclusively on Comedy Central, which is a pretty big deal for UK television considering that there aren’t many other shows to become emotionally invested in, so instead we have to look forward to repeats of a US sitcom that concluded in 2004.
Tickets for FriendsFest have gone on sale today. You can buy them right here.
