Many Seasons of MTV’s Hit Prank Series Arriving on Netflix

A long-running MTV reality series is headed to Netflix later this month, bringing multiple seasons of its trademark mix of internet clip comedy and host commentary to the streaming platform.

The prank-style show has entertained audiences for years with outrageous viral videos, humorous reactions, and celebrity guest appearances. Its arrival on Netflix marks a notable shift for the series and adds a familiar title to the streamer’s growing February lineup.

Netflix to add multiple seasons of Ridiculousness

Netflix is adding a dose of chaos to its lineup. The streaming giant announced that multiple seasons of MTV’s prank-fueled hit Ridiculousness will start rolling out on February 26 (via What’s on Netflix), joining a packed February schedule filled with fresh originals, returning favorites, documentaries, and comedy drops.

The show has been a mainstay on MTV since its 2011 debut. Fronted by former pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, Ridiculousness thrives on viral mayhem, from wipeouts and wild stunts to painfully awkward moments caught on camera.

Dyrdek and his panel don’t just watch the clips; they roast, react, and break them down with rapid-fire jokes. Over the years, Sterling “Steelo” Brim and Chanel West Coast have brought their own energy and punchy commentary to the couch, helping turn internet mishaps into binge-worthy TV.

Over the years, Ridiculousness has stacked up an impressive number of seasons, building a massive library packed with prank disasters, epic wipeouts, and blink-and-you-miss-it viral videos. Ratings have gone up and down, but the show has carved out a steady fan base and become one of MTV’s go-to comfort watches, thanks to its easygoing, laugh-at-the-internet take.

Instead of asking viewers to send in clips, the production team licenses already viral videos and shapes each episode around specific themes. The format mixes rapid-fire reactions, playful trash talk, and occasional mini-games or recurring bits inspired by the footage. Celebrity guests frequently drop by, including the likes of Karrueche Tran, David Spade, Chrissy Teigen, Madison Beer, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, and Kylie Jenner.
