Brad Pitt Felt ‘Threatened’ by Gwyneth Paltrow’s Career, Book Claims

Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow’s dating era recently became the hot topic of discussion, thanks to a new unauthorized book. Titled “Gwyneth: The Biography,” the book’s author claims that the “F1” star seemingly had a problem and felt “threatened” by her growing success. For those unversed, the two dated for two years before Pitt proposed to Paltrow in 1996.

Brad Pitt had issues with all the attention Gwyneth Paltrow was receiving, book reveals

According to Amy Odell’s book, Brad Pitt did not seem to be okay with Gwyneth Paltrow’s successful career. Page Six has revealed a few details from “Gwyneth: The Biography” about the former couple’s relationship troubles. It has been mentioned that the 52-year-old businesswoman used to share her ordeals with makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin.

Pitt and Paltrow were in their 18 months of relationship when the Goop founder began to visit Aucoin’s house to unload her issues. The book quotes an unnamed source, who alleged that the “actress “Iron Man” actor used to cry over troubles with “Pitt multiple times.” Apparently, the 61-year-old Hollywood star felt “threatened by her success and all the attention she received.” While comforting her, the makeup artist advised Paltrow to end her relationship with her then-boyfriend.

In 1994, the two actors started dating after they met on the set of the 1995 film “Se7en.” After two years, they got engaged, but their relationship didn’t last long, and they called it off. Later, Pitt married Jennifer Aniston in 2000.

Moreover, the infamous book reportedly also includes how the “Iron Man” star felt about her ex and Aniston’s marriage. She was seemingly “sad” and allegedly told her friend that the man “has terrible taste in women.” Furthermore, the author also mentions that Paltrow started dating Ben Affleck soon after parting ways with Pitt.

Odell’s book has naturally grabbed attention, but Paltrow seems “cool and curated” about the hype. Meanwhile, reports suggested that her husband, Brad Falchuk, might have been triggered by the biography. The shocking revelations and claims seemed to have created tension between the couple.
