Gwyneth Paltrow was ‘sad’ about her ex, Brad Pitt, getting married to Jennifer Aniston, says book
Us Weekly recently shared an exclusive excerpt from Amy Odell’s “Gwyneth: The Biography.” In the book, the author claimed that Gwyneth Paltrow wasn’t too happy about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s marriage. The 52-year-old didn’t share her sentiments with the public. She supposedly did confide in her friends that she felt “sad” to hear that Pitt and Aniston were tying the knot.
Odell stated that Paltrow wasn’t too pleased during a 2000 interview, when a journalist asked her how she felt about Pitt and Aniston’s marriage. The “Sliding Doors” star was quick to note that she “can’t comment on this kind of thing.” However, when it came to her friends, she didn’t hold back. The actor let them know she was not very happy about the pair getting hitched.
Paltrow reportedly told her pals that Pitt “has terrible taste in women.” She also allegedly told Aerin Lauder during a dinner outing that her ex was “dumber than a sack of s–t.” Around the time of their split, Odell recalled there were rumors going around that she had cheated on him during the filming of “Sliding Doors.” However, according to an excerpt shared by PEOPLE, she cried over him multiple times at Kevyn Aucoin’s place.
In the book, Amy Odell also touched upon Gwyneth Paltrow’s relationship with Ben Affleck. The author claimed that the latter might have cheated on the 52-year-old. Although the former couple reportedly had undeniable “physical chemistry,” it didn’t help overcome his “self-destructive impulses. This reportedly resulted in the eventual end of their romance.
