The Daily Mail exclusively learned from a senior Venice town hall official that “there is no application for a wedding” for Bezos and Sanchez. They noted, “No one who is recognized by the council will be marrying them.” Therefore, the official stated that Bezos and Sanchez’s marriage ceremony “will not be recognized under Italian law.”
The senior official continued to explain that the couple will not be considered “married” from this week’s ceremony. However, the case would be different if Bezos and Sanchez were “married already” before the wedding.
On the other hand, there is also a possibility that they are “having another ceremony somewhere else.” Another point to note, according to the official, is that the Cini Foundation is not an authorised wedding venue. This is where the ceremony will reportedly take place.
