For those unversed, Kerrigan is known for a dating card game called “Let’s F—ing Date.” So, during her encounter with Swift, she tried to gift a card game to her.
Kerrigan revealed that she went up to say “Hi” when Swift, Travis Kelce, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds were about to leave. “I’m such a fan, and I created this car game. I think you’d really love it,” the podcast guest explained the encounter. She added that Swift looked at her and said, “Oh my god! Thank you so much, but no thank you.”
Despite being rejected, Kerrigan stated that the vocalist “was so sweet.” She defended her idol, claiming that the artist could not take gifts from fans, plus her gift looked like a pack of “cigarette[s].” Although she felt dejected and “mortified” from the rejection, she understood Swift’s position.
