A newly shared photo has fueled speculation around Marvel’s Vision Quest, sparking rumors about its key characters. The upcoming series continues the storylines set up in WandaVision and Agatha All Along, centering on Vision’s next chapter in the MCU. The image shows two actors, Joe Locke and Ruaridh Mollica, standing side by side, and fans immediately questioned whether the Maximoff twins are being reintroduced.

The rumors began after a photo of Ruaridh Mollica with Agatha All Along star Joe Locke surfaced online. The image, shared by Locke, showed the two standing side by side in matching beige polo shirts with the caption, “#Twinning,” sparking theories about Mollica’s MCU role as Tommy Maximoff, aka Speed. Locke previously debuted as Billy Maximoff, aka Wiccan, in Agatha All Along earlier this year.
Marvel confirmed Mollica as part of the Vision Quest cast in February 2025 and listed his role as a character named Tucker. However, fans believe Tucker may be a placeholder name for Tommy. On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote, “Tommy Maximoff died in Westview, he’s playing Tommy Shepherd,” while another commented, “The reincarnated version of Wanda’s kids are meant to look identical apart from their hair so I’m surprised they haven’t just got Joe playing both times.”
Other reactions included fans pointing out how Locke and Mollica appear to resemble twins in the image. “Omg it’s happening!!!!!!!! Also, with them standing side by side, I totally see them as twins. It works!” one user posted.
Locke and Mollica are also currently featuring together in the West End play Clarkston. While this collaboration is unrelated to Marvel, their public appearances have fueled speculation of an on-screen reunion as Speed and Wiccan.
As of now, Marvel Studios has not confirmed Mollica’s role in Vision Quest, leaving his character shrouded in mystery.
