Long Vacation confirmed at Netflix with cast and plot
Netflix revealed that it is producing a new K-Drama romantic series, Long Vacation, headlined by Choo Young-woo and Lee Se-young. The former’s previous credits include The Tale of Lady Ok, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, Mercy for None, and Head Over Heels. Moreover, he is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Baeksang Award for Best New Actor.

The streamer recently shared some photos from the upcoming series’ table read on Instagram.
As mentioned in the official synopsis, the story revolves around Demon 3375 (Young-woo), a powerful centuries-old individual lacking an understanding of love, and a sharp, capable woman named Deul-pan (Se-young), who works as a hotel room attendant. The pair meet at a seaside hotel one day, igniting a relationship poised to challenge 3375’s pre-conceived views.
Additional cast members are unknown as of writing. Meanwhile, Jung Hyun-jung, whose filmography includes I Need Romance, Lovestruck in the City, Romance is a Bonus Book, and Discovery of Love, will be writing it.
The show, previously announced to have 16 episodes, will reportedly consist of 12, each of which boasts an approximate one-hour runtime (via What’s on Netflix). It currently has no official release date.
Long Vacation’s announcement comes as Netflix pursues its expansion of Korean content on the platform.
