Zendaya left Robert Pattinson reeling when she dropped the bombshell about owning an iconic piece of movie memorabilia.
In a Letterboxd video interview posted on March 29, the Euphoria actress disclosed that she and Tom Holland possess a One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest poster autographed by none other than Jack Nicholson himself. The revelation left Pattinson visibly surprised and somewhat envious.
After Pattinson shared how the 1975 film had impacted him, Zendaya jumped in, saying, “We actually have a signed poster of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Signed.”
Curious than ever, the Twilight star asked, “Signed by who?” She then revealed that Jack Nicholson had signed it, leaving Pattinson visibly stunned. “What? How’d you get that?” he probed further.
Zendaya then spilled that her rumored husband, Tom Holland, scored the rare collectible; apparently, one of his three brothers got it for them.
The conversation turned to the Best Picture winner featuring Nicholson and Danny DeVito after Robert Pattinson answered the question about what film or performance had first drawn him to acting.
“I remember seeing One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and I didn’t do, like, acting in school or anything and you’re just trying to, like, figure it out,” Pattinson shared. “You, like, get given a script and you’re like, ‘I don’t know.’ You’re trying to stumble your way through it, like, I don’t even know what I was even attempting to do at first,” he added.
Pattinson continued, “But then I remember there was a video store. I got Clockwork Orange and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. I don’t really remember seeing a lot of classic movies before that.”
