Donald Trump shares rendering image of library design
President Donald Trump on Monday shared renderings of his future presidential library on Truth Social, showing a skyscraper dominating the Miami skyline with the Trump name prominently displayed near the top.
The renderings show visitors entering through a golden arch adorned with the presidential seal. The interior features exhibit replicating White House landscapes and a host of aircraft, including Air Force One. The White House has not confirmed whether the AI-generated renderings represent final plans for the design.
Miami-based architecture firm Bermello Ajamil designed the renderings. They include reconstructions of Trump’s gilded Oval Office and the Rose Garden. The renderings show visitors riding a golden escalator, much like the one Trump descended when announcing his first presidential campaign. Inside a massive auditorium, a towering golden statue of the president with his fist raised mimics his reaction following the July 2024 attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The planned library site covers 2.63 acres. It sits adjacent to the Miami Freedom Tower, which served as a processing center for Cubans fleeing communism in the 1960s. The State of Florida deeded the land to the Foundation through a Cabinet vote. However, plans hit a roadblock when a judge temporarily blocked the sale. An activist had sued, alleging Florida’s open government law had been violated.
Eric Trump, head of the library’s foundation, said on X: “This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known.”
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle added: “The Trump Presidential Library will be one of the most magnificent buildings in the world and a living testament to the indelible impact President Trump has made on America and its people.”
