Shaq clarifies whether he sent ‘horny’ messages to Sabrina Carpenter

Shaq addressed viral rumors that he slid into Sabrina Carpenter’s DMs and sent her explicit messages. The former Lakers star discussed the rumors with podcast guests Jim Jones and Bailey Jackson and asked whether or not they believed a certain headline was true.

For those unversed, a series of messages allegedly exchanged between the former NBA star and the Grammy winner. Based on the nature of the DMs, it was flirty and explicit. Jones read, “Shaq exposed for shooting his shot at Sabrina Carpenter.” O’Neal then proceeded to read the messages. He asked Jones and Jackson, “I want you to tell me if it’s me or not me.”

The 54-year-old proceeded to read out an outrageous line that sounded more disgusting than romantic. O’Neal read, “Damn, baby I would keep your farts in a cologne bottle and spray it on me every day… Just jokes.” Jones interrupted, “That’s crazy.” The former NBA star read, “‘I’m Shaqs. What’s your name, baby?’” The person pretending to be Carpenter replied, “I know who you are. You’re way too famous to be sending me messages like that.”

The faux O’Neal read out his alleged response, “I can’t be horny and want some of that snow bunny kitty for myself. You’re being rude for no reason. You can’t handle Big Diesel any way.” For those unversed, Diesel is the NBA star’s nickname. He informed viewers that not only did these DMs spread like wildfire, but fans even believed them to be true.

Jackson pointed out that the viral screenshots included a photoshopped image of O’Neal to make them seem authentic. After the NBA star was done reading the messages, he remarked, “First of all, ladies, the Diesel got way more game than that.”
