Prince Harry Dismisses Explosive Claim About Meghan Markle — Report

Prince Harry pushed back after a new Hollywood report examined his and Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix chapter. The piece looked at their working dynamic, their company Archewell, and the streamer’s evolving plans after Meghan’s brand As Ever moved forward on its own.

The report also revisited meeting claims, Zoom call complaints, and Netflix fatigue around the Sussexes’ output. However, Harry and Markle’s attorney and Netflix all disputed key parts of that account while insisting the partnership had not broken down.

Prince Harry allegedly responds to report on his working relationship with Meghan Markle

As per Variety’s report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s business relationship with Netflix came under renewed scrutiny after sources described tension around Archewell’s output and meeting style. The insider claim was that Markle tended to “talk over or recast Prince Harry’s thoughts” during conversations. However, the duke pushed back directly. Prince Harry called that assertion “categorically false.” Meanwhile, the couple’s attorney, Michael J. Kump, said the claim “seems calculated to play into the misogynistic characterization of her bossing her husband around.” That response became the public rebuttal as of now.

A source alleged Markle sometimes “disappear[ed]” during Zoom calls and later signaled that she had stepped away after being offended by something said. In turn, attorney Michael J. Kump disputed that characterization too. He said Markle “works from home, is the mother of young children aged 4 and 6,” and often dealt with interruptions many remote-working parents knew well. He added that she also tried to shield her team from those distractions. “Nearly all professionals can attest to needing to turn off the audio or camera during a virtual meeting,” he said. So, that part of the report also drew an immediate legal response.

Still, the wider Netflix question remained central. Some insiders felt the streamer had cooled on the couple after several uneven projects and changing plans around As Ever. Yet Netflix denied that reading. A spokesperson said it was “absolutely inaccurate” that Ted Sarandos and Bela Bajaria had lost faith in them. Bajaria added, “Archewell has been a thoughtful and collaborative partner.”

Harry and Markle extended their creative relationship with Netflix in August 2025 through a first-look deal. Since then, Archewell has continued to stand behind projects including “Harry & Meghan,” “Heart of Invictus,” “Polo,” and “With Love, Meghan.”
