Bryan Fuller has once again shared his vision for expanding the world of Hannibal. The series creator revealed that he still hopes to see Zendaya take on the role of Clarice Starling. The showrunner recently revisited the idea while discussing the potential future of the series.

Bryan Fuller has once again shared his interest in seeing Zendaya take on the role of Clarice Starling if the series Hannibal is revived for a fourth season.
The showrunner spoke about the possibility during an interview with ScreenRant, where he discussed ideas he would like to explore if the project moves forward. Fuller said, said he remains enthusiastic about the idea of introducing Clarice Starling into the story and believes Zendaya would be a strong choice for the character.
According to him, she could bring a different perspective and energy to the role. “I would love to do a Clarice story. I’m a big fan of Zendaya. I think she would be an amazing Clarice Starling, and bring a completely different temperature and point of view to the character than what we’ve had before,” he said.
The creator also mentioned the possibility of bringing Zendaya’s Clarice into a storyline alongside Mads Mikkelsen. “I would love to get Zendaya and Mads Mikkelsen together in a Hannibal story,” he said.
The creator has previously spoken about a similar idea, describing a limited series inspired by The Silence of the Lambs as one of his dream projects. At the time, he said he would like to see Mikkelsen return as Hannibal Lecter while Zendaya steps into the role of Clarice.
For now, the potential continuation of Hannibal remains uncertain. Zendaya has not publicly commented on the possibility of portraying the iconic character if the project eventually moves ahead.
