Season 2 of Popular Netflix TV Show To Release Soon After a 3-Year Wait

Fans of the hard-hitting K-drama that got an impressive 89% on Rotten Tomatoes can finally mark their calendars. Netflix has confirmed the release date for the show’s Season 2 return, and the wait is nearly over.

Bloodhounds Sets Season 2 release date with teaser and poster

The streaming giant dropped both a teaser trailer and official poster this week, confirming that Bloodhounds Season 2 will release globally on April 3, 2026. The release date announcement came via Netflix K-Content’s YouTube channel, where the trailer has already surpassed 1 million views.

The Bloodhounds season 2 release date lands three years after the debut season established Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi as action stars to watch. Their characters, two boxers drawn into a loan shark war, resonated with audiences who appreciated the blend of brutal combat and warm friendship.

Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi step back into their roles as Gun-woo and Woo-jin, carrying the scars and lessons from their past battles. Jung Ji-hoon joins the cast in a dramatic transformation as Baek-jeong. He is a chilling new villain whose power in the ring is matched only by his greed.

A sneak peek of that is given in Bloodhounds Season 2 teaser, which runs just over a minute but packs plenty of punches. It shows Gun-woo achieving his dream of becoming a boxing champion with Woo-jin coaching from his corner. The crowd roars. Then everything shifts.

Their confidence takes a hit, however, when the trailer reveals Baek-jeong. This underground boxing league operator destroys even seasoned champions with chilling efficiency, and his sole motivations—money and violence—point directly at Gun-woo as his next conquest. All in all, what began as a local story now hints at global criminal networks.

The Bloodhounds season 2 poster reinforces the central relationship. It shows the two leads standing shoulder to shoulder, scarred but unbowed, ready for whatever comes next. The artwork captures what made the show work initially: two friends facing impossible odds together.
