New casting updates have emerged for Fox’s upcoming Baywatch reboot, led by Stephen Amell. Multiple actors seem to have joined the growing ensemble as the network continues expanding the lineup ahead of the show’s planned debut.
Hassie Harrison and more join the cast of Baywatch reboot
Hassie Harrison has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming Baywatch reboot, expanding the ensemble that includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi, and newcomer Thaddeus LaGrone (via Variety).
Harrison will portray Nat, described as “a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete.” The character is also described as “the gold standard when it comes to lifeguarding” and “Hobie’s right hand and closest friend.”
The actress previously appeared on Yellowstone, where she appeared as barrel racer Laramie. Her screen credits also include the thriller Dangerous Animals and upcoming films The Rescue, Deep Eddy, and Raven. She has also appeared on HBO’s It’s Florida, Man.
Thaddeus LaGrone has also joined the reboot and will play Brad, a lifeguard whose background shapes his approach to rescue work. The character description states he “served two tours in an elite division of the Marines before returning back home to Venice Beach to care for his ailing father.” Brad is described as “fearless and incredibly strong, a one-man rescue machine” (via Variety).
LaGrone, a former football player, recently forayed into acting. He has appeared in the sports film Mr. Irrelevant. Filming will begin this spring at Venice Beach and the Fox studio lot in Century City.
Fox will premiere the revival during the 2026-2027 television season after the network ordered 12 episodes in September 2025. In the series, Amell takes on the role of Hobie Buchannon, the son of Mitch Buchannon. Jessica Belkin, on the other hand, has been brought in to play Charlie Vale. Lastly, Chokachi returns as Cody Madison.
