She revealed that instead of addressing serious issues, he stopped by to compliment the new statues that were recently installed outside the White House. He mentioned that the statues looked unbelievable and then walked away, ultimately ignoring any questions from the journalists related to the latest conflict.

Holmes recently revealed that after returning from Mar-a-Lago to the nation’s capital, Trump didn’t bother to answer any questions related to war. She revealed that, usually, the president does take a moment to stop by and address the press. However, this time, he completely ignored them and refused to pass any comments on the ongoing US-Israeli war with Iran. Instead, she revealed that he momentarily stopped by to admire the newly installed statues of Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin outside the White House.
Holmes said, “Instead, [he] stopped and admired some new statues that were being put into the Rose Garden. We hadn’t seen them before; they appeared to be the Founding Fathers, saying, ‘Come look at them, they’re unbelievable.’ And then walked away.” Trump’s ignorance of a serious issue like war didn’t sit well with Holmes. She went on to express her disappointment that, despite demanding answers, they were ultimately left with uncertainty.
She explained, “We were shouting questions,’ What is your message for the families of the service members who were killed? How long are we going to be in this conflict?’” Holmes said. “We have so little answers right now, we don’t what is going to happen next” (via Mediaite).
