Fans of Heated Rivalry can now rent the lead character Shane’s cottage this summer. The cottage appeared regularly throughout the series and has been widely recognized for its modern design, surrounded by lush greenery. Now, the show’s fans can experience the luxurious modern cottage for themselves.
Airbnb lists Shane’s cottage in Heated Rivalry for rent
The cottage that has prominently featured in the Canadian sports romance Heated Rivalry was just listed on Airbnb for rent. Fans of the show can spend their summer at the cottage. Unfortunately, only a few can book the place, as it is reportedly open for a limited time.
Barlochan cottage, which belonged to Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) on the show, is located on the shores of Lake Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, according to the company’s blog. Currently, the bookings are limited to dates May 8-10, May 16-18, May 22-24, and May 29-31.
Guests will be charged at $248.10 CAD per night, and can book for the aforementioned dates starting March 3 at 12:00 PM ET on the official listing here. The cottage will eventually open for regular bookings, though no date or timeline has been made public yet.
According to the blog, the cottage features three bedrooms, basic amenities, a fully equipped kitchen, a private gym, a central fireplace, a state-of-the-art entertainment system, and much more. The location also has easy access to the lake for outdoor activities, such as kayaking and canoeing.
Heated Rivalry is a Canadian series based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novel series. Although its title is inspired by the second book. It follows the intense on-ice rivalry between two hockey stars, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), while they share a passionate, secret relationship in private.
In Canada, the show aired on Crave, and in the US, on HBO Max. The show saw massive success, drawing more than 10.6 million viewers in the US alone. According to The Wrap, HBO Max claimed the finale drew over four times the viewership of the show’s premiere episode. It reportedly continued to grow after the finale aired on December 26, 2025.
