Starbucks is feeding into fans’ obsession with MrBeast with the launch of two new beverages ahead of the season finale of the show, Beast Games: Strong v. Smart. The episode will air on February 25, and fans can catch it on Prime Video with a new MrBeast-inspired drink in hand.
Starbucks bringing back MrBeast-inspired drinks with new twists
Starbucks teamed up with MrBeast for season two of Beast Games, serving contestants refreshments throughout the day. There was a 24/7 open location of the coffee giant inside the Beast City, which housed 100 of the world’s best competitors. In fact, the brand even came up with a special drink, the Cannon Ball Refresher, named after one of the challenges in the competition.
The massive success of this collaboration prompted Starbucks to add two new special beverages to its springtime menu. Launching on February 23, the Cold Foam Cannon Ball will be available for purchase in the “Offers” tab of the Starbucks app for a limited time. Interested fans can get it by selecting a Grande Cannon Ball Refresher and adding Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam.
The other drink is the Pink Cannon Ball Drink, a variant of the original Cannon Ball Refresher. According to the brand’s press release, the drink is made from coconut milk with “Mango Dragonfruit and Strawberry Açaí Refreshers, shaken with ice and topped with strawberry and dragonfruit inclusions.” It will have a sweet and punchy flavor “with sweet strawberry, juicy mango, and hints of berry.” Customers can grab the drink from March 3. The pricing for both of these beverages is still under wraps.
The press release also stated that the original Cannon Ball Drink will remain on the menu. The drink was initially available for a limited time starting January 14. Considering the huge demand, Starbucks decided to extend its run. Before the launch of the special MrBeast-themed beverage, the brand also made a surprise appearance in the creator’s 30 Days in the Sky challenge on YouTube.
