Former Donald Trump ally, Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, has issued a blistering warning to her former MAGA base, cautioning that their behavior could sabotage the party’s chances in the upcoming midterm elections.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized members of the MAGA movement for mocking victims of Epstein, arguing that such behavior could alienate women voters at a critical political moment.
Addressing what she described as ridicule directed at victims of Jeffrey Epstein, Greene wrote: “All of you MAGA influencers and the rest mocking the seriousness of women who were trafficked and raped as teenagers and young women look like cult fools.” She continued her rebuke by directly linking the controversy to electoral consequences. “Good luck trying to get women to vote for Republicans in the midterms you insensitive clowns,” she continued. “The Republican Party already has a woman-voting problem. Keep mocking those of us who take rape and pedophilia seriously and demand accountability for corruption.”
Greene did not cite specific examples of the mockery that prompted her remarks. However, her comments come as the Department of Justice continues releasing documents tied to Epstein in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The gradual disclosures have reignited scrutiny of powerful figures connected to the convicted sex offender.
Moreover, her concerns about the midterms align with recent polling. Surveys from YouGov and Morning Consult this month show more registered voters currently favor Democrats over Republicans, with Democrats holding leads of six and three points, respectively. Additional polls from Focaldata, Quantus Insights, Public Policy Polling, and Cygnal Political also indicate a Democratic advantage heading into November’s midterms.
Furthermore, Marjorie Taylor Greene’s latest warning reflects her increasingly strained relationship with Donald Trump. Once a vocal MAGA ally, she publicly broke with him over several issues, including his approach to the Epstein matter and his foreign policy priorities in Ukraine and Gaza. She resigned from the House in January after months of tension, and Trump later referred to her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown” on Truth Social.
