Real Housewives Reunion Show Fires RHONY Star Amid Bad Bunny Comment

Real Housewives of New York City’s Jill Zarin was fired from the upcoming Real Housewives reunion project after her controversial remarks about Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl LX performance. The production company announced its decision with an official statement on social media.

Blink49 Studios, the production company that is planning a Real Housewives reunion show titled “The Golden Life,” has announced that Jill Zarin will no longer be a part of the show’s cast. The company broke the news on February 10 with an Instagram post.

The statement read, “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life. We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

The decision comes days after the Bravo alum criticized the Puerto Rican rapper’s 2026 Super Bowl LX Halftime Show performance. She originally uploaded the video on her Instagram account, but later deleted it. However, Gibson Johns, an entertainment journalist, reshared the video on X.

In the video, the reality TV star described the “NUEVAYoL” singer’s performance as the “worst Halftime Show ever.” She believed it was “inappropriate to have it entirely in Spanish,” citing the country’s 250th anniversary of independence.

The 62-year-old said that the game was watched by “young kids,” and that there was no reason for Bad Bunny to be “grabbing himself every five seconds.” She also alleged that the NFL was attempting to make a political statement. “There were literally no white people in the entire thing,” she added.

“I’m not taking a side, one way or the other. I think it was an ICE thing,” Zarin continued. “I just think that the NFL sold out, and it’s very sad. Shame.” She concluded the video criticizing Lady Gaga, who performed during Bad Bunny’s segment, for getting a “facelift.” She said that she couldn’t recognize the singer at first glance.
