The Democratic Party took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the Super Bowl’s 60th halftime show, headlined by six-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny. Below the singer’s picture, the text read, “All-American Halftime with Bad Bunny,” with the same phrase mentioned in the tweet. Retweeting the post, Wilkins wrote, “Unpopular: Republicans need to unite and get on better messaging because this branding is fantastic and allows all Dems to get behind it.” Appreciating the visuals, she added, “Also – super aesthetic.”

Her tweet garnered massive attention, with many taking to her comment section to slam her opinions. However, she did reply to a few of the comments, clarifying her take and shutting down the negative speculations. In one follow-up tweet, she wrote, “I don’t mean the show, I didn’t watch it. I mean the messaging on the exterior.”

Clarifying that she didn’t even watch the event, she elaborated, “I offer 0 commentary on the show itself. The dems were smart with public branding and cosplaying as America fans, which means they’re trying to gain moderate ground again. And the right does need to unite. The content is not good I agree.”

Additionally, she replied to a comment from a user about what she found to be good branding in the post. “I don’t mean the dems to get behind. I mean for the right to unite. And re the branding I mean to not give the left an inch of cosplaying as pro-America,” she explained.

Bad Bunny performed an impressive set at the Super Bowl 60, concluding his performance with his hit title track, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.” At the end, he also lifted a football engraved with a powerful message, which read, “Together, we are America.”
