OnlyFans’ Sophie Rain Slams James Fishback For Joining Tinder: ‘You’re Preying’

Escalating the online war of words that took place over several days between Republican candidate James Fishback and OnlyFans star Sophie Rain, the young creator has hit out at the Florida governor candidate for his announcement about joining Tinder. Fishback reportedly pulled off the stunt as a campaign strategy for his run.

Sophie Rain slams James Fishback in new tweet

James Fishback, who previously drew criticism for his plans of imposing “sin tax” on OnlyFans creators, recently announced online that he had joined Tinder. He further stated that he joined the platform to “meet young female voters where they are.”

Sophie Rain, who already engaged multiple times with Fishback over the issue of “sin tax,” hit out at the 31-year-old candidate for this Tinder stunt.

“This isn’t outreach. This is voter exploitation,” Sophie Rain, considered one of the most popular OnlyFans creators in the world, told The Blast. “‘Young female voters,’ you’re not campaigning. You’re preying.”

Rain further added, “Women aren’t props for your outdated family fantasy…We’re not stepping stones for your political ambitions. It’s creepy.”

In the original post, Fishback wrote, “I’ve joined @Tinder to meet young female voters where they are, and share my plan to make it easier for them to get married, buy a home, and raise a family.” This also drew criticism online from many netizens.

James Fishback rose to prominence when he revealed online that he would impose a 50 percent “sin tax” on OnlyFans earnings, citing that this would lure young women away from the life of adult entertainment. He also called out Rain multiple times before, perhaps referring to Rain’s alleged earnings of over $100 million.

While Fishback has claimed that his goal was to stop young women from selling their bodies to “sick men” online (via Complex), Rain rejected the claim. She added in response, “This is what happens when you let personal bias drive your platform. You go from attacking women’s choices to begging for Tinder likes. It’s embarrassing.”
