On February 3, the Tesla CEO took to social media to share his thoughts on what Bill Gates’ ex-wife had to say about her former partner’s involvement in the Epstein files.
Elon Musk expressed his feelings about Melinda Gates’ comments in a supposedly sarcastic manner with a single word. He shared a snippet of her appearance on the NPR Wild Card podcast in an X (formerly Twitter) post and captioned it, “Wow.”
In the interview, the NPR host questioned Melinda about her ex-husband’s link to the Epstein emails, which suggested that Bill Gates had engaged in extramarital affairs. The interviewer also mentioned that the Microsoft co-founder reportedly “tried to get medication to treat a sexually transmitted infection,” and even made an attempt to secretly inject Melinda with the remedy.
The former Microsoft marketing manager responded by saying, “Sad. Just unbelievable sadness. Unbelievable sadness. And again, I’m able to take my own sadness and look at those young girls and say, ‘My God, how did that happen to those girls?’ So, for me, it’s just sadness. I left my marriage. I had to leave my marriage.” She continued, “I wanted to leave my marriage. I felt I needed to eventually leave the foundation. So it’s just sad. That’s the truth.”
Further empathizing with the victims, Melinda Gates added, “At least for me, I’ve been able to move on in life, and I hope there’s some justice for those now-women.”
In addition to Bill Gates, the Epstein files released by the US Department of Justice have also revealed Elon Musk’s prolonged connection with the late financier. Even though the recently published emails indicate that the billionaire businessman had inquired about Epstein’s island on multiple occasions, Musk has publicly denied all accusations.
