Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, two of the most renowned faces on Summer House, have announced that they are splitting after four years of marriage. The pair announced this through matching Instagram stories.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the statement shared by both of them on their respective Instagram stories said, “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
The statement concludes, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
Cooke has been a part of Summer House since before he was with Amanda Batula. He began on the show back in 2017. Cooke started dating Batula during season 2, and they went on to have an engagement on camera in 2018. In September 2021, the pair got married.
However, there has been trouble brewing for a while now, as seen on Summer House. Among the pair’s numerous issues, one that was quite evident was Cooke’s habits of partying and his conflicting vision of a future with Batula.
In recent months, there have also been rumors of the pair separating, which they dismissed at the time. However, it seems now that the rumors were pointing in the right direction.
Bravo also recently announced a spinoff, In the City, which was set to star Batula, Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard.
