Netflix has released the official trailer for Motorvalley, an Italian drama series set in the world of GT racing. The show stars Luca Argentero as Arturo Benini, Giulia Michelini as Elena Dionisi, and Caterina Forza as Blu Venturi. It premieres globally on February 10, 2026, exclusively on Netflix.
Matteo Rovere produces the series for Groenlandia, with Francesca Manieri, Gianluca Bernardini, and Rovere serving as creators. Rovere, Pippo Mezzapesa, and Lyda Patitucci direct the episodes, while Manieri, Rovere, Bernardini, Michela Straniero, and Erika Z. Galli handle the writing.
Set in Emilia-Romagna, Italy’s historic automotive hub known as Motor Valley, the story follows Arturo, Elena, and Blu as their lives intersect on and off the racetrack. Each character pushes forward with a personal stake, as the series examines their struggles within the context of the Italian Gran Turismo Championship.
The production team filmed in 2024 at major motorsport venues such as Imola, Mugello, Monza, and Vallelunga. They also captured additional scenes in Tuscany and Imola to portray training settings and family storylines. The series features real footage from the 2024 Italian Gran Turismo Championship.
Elena, a member of the prominent Dionisi family, tries to reclaim her role in a racing team now led by her brother. To strengthen her position, she brings in Blu, a young and impulsive driver drawn to danger. She also recruits Arturo, a retired racing icon who left the sport after a tragic event.
The supporting cast features Giovanna Mezzogiorno, Davide Donin, Ivano Chinali, Giuseppe Spata, and Giancarlo Previati. It also includes Diego Ribon, Stefano Abbati, Leonardo Bianconi, Simonetta Solder, Andrea Montovoli, Simone Tonoli, and Alberto Naska. Netflix first announced the show during Next on Netflix 2025.
