Timothée Chalamet and Adam Sandler team up against high schoolers in basketball game

Timothée Chalamet and Adam Sandler take on a bunch of high-schoolers in an exciting basketball game. In a video reportedly shared by internet users Cuaronna and Lilitph, the two actors show off their best moves against two Fairfax High School students.

Dressed in a full-sleeve white shirt and black leather pants, Chalamet takes charge of the game as Sandler watches him. Chalamet throws the ball towards the basket, but unfortunately misses it. Seizing the opportunity, the high-schoolers grab the ball as Chalamet and Sandler attempt to take the ball from them. The teens score a basket as Chalamet and Sandler look at each other, exasperated.

Not one to give up easily, the Marty Supreme star charges in again with the ball. He passes the ball to his 59-year-old co-star, who attempts to score a basket. Sandler and Chalamet keep passing the ball to each other in an attempt to buy time against the high schoolers.

Finally, after multiple futile attempts, the Jay Kelly star scores a basket as the crowd cheers for him. Previously, Sandler recounted this incident on the November 20 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! The 50 First Dates star bluntly confessed that he and Chalamet lost an impromptu basketball game against two high schoolers from Los Angeles’ Fairfax High School.

Sandler revealed that the duo was filming something for Netflix when the streaming giant suggested a basketball match. He shared, “I didn’t want any of this. But what happened, me and Timmy did this thing together for Netflix. At the very end, they said, ‘You guys will play two-on-two with some kids from the crowd.’ They got two random high school kids who played me and Tim.”

Kimmel shared a clip of the basketball game with his live audience. Upon watching the losing clip, Sandler quipped, “Those two kids beat us, and they were cool as hell, and they enjoyed beating us. And I was glad…to make them happy.”
