Stranger Things Star’s Latest Video Fuels Season 5 Episode 9 Theories Again

Online discussion about the rumored secret Stranger Things season 5 Episode 9 intensified following a single remark from Jamie Campbell Bower. The comment was shared in a recent social media clip. It has prompted discussion that the series’ final season may not be finished, and there might be an additional episode.

Jamie Campbell Bower’s video has Stranger Things fans talking about a secret Season 5 Episode 9

Speculation surrounding Stranger Things season 5 Episode 9 has resurfaced following a recent social media appearance by Jamie Campbell Bower. The actor, who portrays Vecna in the Netflix series, appeared in a video shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s official Instagram account. Bower briefly delivered the line “tomorrow it begins” in his character’s voice. The moment quickly drew attention from fans online.

The video was also shared on Reddit, particularly within the r/StrangerThings community. A user posted, “GO TO GOOGLE RIGHT NOW and type ‘Stranger Things’ – trust me. I’m telling you something BIG is moving. And then, Jamie Bower was on @fallontonight Instagram yesterday and literally said ‘tomorrow it begins’ in Vecna’s voice. I’m calling it: Episode 9!”

The clip yet again started long-running fan theories suggesting that the fifth season may not have fully concluded with its New Year’s Eve finale. Some viewers have continued to question whether the ending was the true conclusion of the series. Supporters of the theory have speculated that a surprise release could occur on January 7.

One theory on X (formerly Twitter) suggests that events following Mike Wheeler getting knocked unconscious represent an artificial reality, possibly created by Vecna. Fans supporting the idea point to Mike’s unusual behavior in later scenes as a possible sign of that influence. Despite the growing discussion, the claims have been publicly denied by cast members.

Actor Randy Havens addressed the rumors directly on social media, stating that no secret episode exists. He wrote, “There is no Snyder Cut of the show, please don’t believe everything some random a** tells you on the internet.”

As of now, Netflix has not commented on the reports.
