The Christy star showcased her daring side in a Marilyn Monroe–inspired photoshoot, replicating the legendary star’s glamorous avatar. Sweeney sported a vintage blonde bob, styled in retro pin-up curls reminiscent of Monroe (via PEOPLE).
She covered her modesty with her hands and positioned her legs in a way that the cameras only captured her side profile and back. Sweeney’s choker-style Chopard Haute Joaillerie necklace added an extra oomph factor to the overall look. Interestingly, Sweeney previously debuted her blonde bob cut at the AFI Fest screening of Christy in Los Angeles in October (via PEOPLE).
For those unversed, Monroe donned the iconic white ensemble, with a waist-cinching bodice and a flowing dress in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. Thirty years later, the memorable outfit served as inspiration for Sweeney, who modeled a white Galia Lahav gown with a plunging neckline at the premiere of her movie The Housemaid in December (via PEOPLE).

In a December interview with Allure, the actress clarified that, contrary to popular belief, she had not done any cosmetic surgery. Sweeney confessed, “I am so scared of needles, you have no idea.”
She reiterated that it was unfair to compare her past pictures to her present ones and that change was inevitable. The Euphoria alum said, “You cannot compare a photo of me from when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting! Of course I’m going to look different. Everybody on social media’s insane.”
Moreover, in yet another promotional interview, Sweeney reaffirmed that she has not gotten any cosmetic enhancements. The 28-year-old actress participated in Vanity Fair‘s lie detector test with The Housemaid co-star Amanda Seyfried. When asked if she has gotten her b*****s enhanced, Sweeney replied, “No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.”
