A photo from Adam Peaty’s wedding to Holly Ramsay has become the cause of devastation for his estranged family. The Olympic gold-medal-winning swimmer’s family, except his sister, was notably absent at the ceremony, and now a photo has allegedly made things more difficult for them.

Reportedly, a photo showing Adam Peaty, Holly Ramsay, Gordon Ramsay, his wife, and their son, Jesse, has immensely hurt the swimmer’s family. A source told The Sun, “This picture appeared on a family member’s socials, and it was galling. To see Adam and his bride in her ensemble would have been lovely but the photos showed them with Gordon and Tana, their son and the Beckhams!”
The family member reportedly decided to ensure that Peaty’s parents, Caroline and Mark, do not see the picture. Further, the insider told the outlet, “Just look at the Beckhams posing where Caroline and Mark should be. Gordon’s son is there too but not Adam’s.”
Sharing why the photo was so hurtful, the source said, “While we wish the couple happiness, this picture is very hard to take in. It shows a bride and groom with just the bride’s parents and their best friends. The groom’s parents were absent, not through choice, but at their son’s decision.”
The picture that sparked this response from Peaty’s family was allegedly posted on his private Instagram. The British swimmer’s relationship with his family began going downhill after the engagement party in December 2024. Things escalated in November 2025 when his aunt publicly criticised Holly Ramsay for not inviting Caroline Peaty to her hen do.
Subsequently, Caroline Peaty and other family members were uninvited from the wedding. Peaty’s sister was the only family member at the ceremony at Bath Abbey. Even his brothers, James and Richard, stayed back home with their parents.
