Netflix is set to close out January with one of its biggest shows, as Bridgerton Season 4 prepares to make its long-awaited debut. The period drama, which ranks among the streamer’s most-watched English-language series, will return with a split release later this month.
January will be a special month for Bridgerton fans
Bridgerton Season 4 is set to arrive in two parts, with the first four episodes premiering on January 29, 2026, followed by the remaining episodes on February 26. The release schedule places one of Netflix’s biggest shows as a major end-of-January lineup (via Netflix).
The period drama’s first season continues to rank among Netflix’s most successful English-language series, placing within the top six of all time. Season 3 also performed strongly, finishing in the top eight. Meanwhile, the show’s popularity has already led to renewals through Seasons 5 and 6.
The new season shifts its focus to Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson, following the romantic arcs of his siblings, Anthony, Daphne, Colin, and Francesca. The storyline is based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel, An Offer from a Gentleman. It introduces a romance sparked at Violet Bridgerton’s masquerade ball.
Benedict’s perspective on love changes after he encounters a mysterious woman known only as the Lady in Silver. That woman is later revealed to be Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, a resourceful maid navigating rigid social boundaries while hiding her true identity.
The Season 4 cast includes returning faces such as Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton, and Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, among others. It also features new additions, including Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling.
Jess Brownell serves as showrunner. With a two-part release planned and Benedict’s story moving into focus, Bridgerton Season 4 is set to draw major attention in January.
