In yet another display of the power of his infectious energy, the popular YouTuber brought African soldiers together in a celebration of music and culture. Speed’s traditional dance tribute has since gone viral, winning hearts across Africa as well as the globe.

IShowSpeed‘s traditional dance with tribal soldiers in Eswatini, Africa, has garnered massive praise online. In a sweet nod to African culture, the Twitch streamer joined tribal soldiers to perform a traditional dance, showcasing his honest intent to learn and cultural appreciation. Fans are praising his enthusiasm and intrigue for the local culture, with many calling it a “genuine cultural exchange.”

During a visit to Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), IShowSpeed was officially initiated as a warrior of a local tribe. Speed was inducted into the esteemed ranks of the Umbutfo warriors and given the honorary name “Logijimako” (The One Who Runs) at the sacred Kubutseka ceremony held at the Ngabezweni Royal Residence. Embracing the honor wholeheartedly, Speed joined the Eswatini soldiers in their traditional performance.

The X video of IShowSpeed performing the local dance has earned millions of views and responses for showcasing authentic African culture to his global audience. “This isn’t just a dance it’s history in motion! The dance was part of his Speed Does Africa tour. Speed began the tour on December 29, 2025. During the 28-day journey, the social media sensation plans to visit 20 countries. Viewers will witness Speed immersing himself in local traditions and taking on new adventures, the latest being the African car pull challenge.
