MacRumors has reported that “the company is widely rumored to split its upcoming iPhone releases across two distinct release windows rather than unveiling the entire lineup at once.”
According to the report, Apple is prioritizing high-end models this fall. However, the tech company is giving the standard or budget-friendly ones a raincheck until next year. If the rumors are true, the base iPhone 18 model is expected to launch in spring 2027. It will potentially hit stores alongside the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2.
The iPhone 17 is getting rave reviews as the best phone in the current lineup. Hence, making customers wait six more months for the iPhone 18 comes with risks.
