Stefon Diggs’ former chef has accused the NFL star of allegedly choking and hitting her. Diggs reportedly assaulted the chef on December 2 after the two argued over back pay he allegedly owed her. However, Diggs’ lawyer has categorically denied the accusations against the NFL star.

Stefon Diggs’ ex-chef has accused him of allegedly assaulting her last month. According to the police report, the duo got into a heated argument over back pay he allegedly owed her. The chef only reported the assault on December 16. However, the chef did not decide to formally press charges until December 23. (via PEOPLE).
The woman alleged that the 32-year-old NFL star was upset when she insisted that he compensate her for her services as his private chef. According to the chef, the alleged assault took place at the Patriots star’s luxurious $2.5 million home in Dedham, Massachusetts.
According to the police report, Diggs’ private chef demanded he pay her the money he owed her. In fact, the chef alleged that the duo had “been having an ongoing text exchange over money owed to [her].”
When she brought up the matter again, he was “apparently angered” by her words. According to the chef’s police interview, things took a turn for the worse when Diggs “smacked her across the face.” In response, she pushed him away.
Furthermore, the Patriots star reportedly assaulted her again when he “tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck.” The chef told police that she “did have trouble breathing and could’ve blacked out.” Moreover, she allegedly claimed that he “tightened his grip” as she tried to pry his arm away. According to the chef, the NFL star then “threw her on the bed” and allegedly remarked “thought so” when he left the bedroom. The chef also shared that she was hesitant to file a police report after the alleged assault incident.
On December 23, after a period of prolonged suffering, the chef pressed formal charges against the Patriots wide receiver. At the time of writing, Diggs’ lawyers revealed to PEOPLE that the NFL star “categorically denies the allegations.”
