Taking fandom to a whole new level, a football fan is wearing his favorite players’ names on his sleeve and everywhere else. With 157 autographs from players and coaches tattooed across his body, a Chicago Bears supporter has bagged the title of the team’s “craziest” fan. His tattoo journey is making waves online, intriguing both players and followers.
Chicago Bears superfan has 157 players and coaches’ tattoos
Glenn Timmerman, a 60-year-old Chicago Bears diehard, has taken fandom to stratospheric heights, wearing his love for the team on his skin. The superfan boasts 157 tattoos of players’ and coaches’ autographs, covering his entire body from head to toe.
In a December 2025 interview with NBC 5 Chicago, Timmerman stripped down to reveal his ultimate homage to the Bears. The skin-deep tribute is a testament to his love and admiration for his favorite NFL team. Speaking with sports anchor Mike Berman, a shirtless Timmerman showcased his incredible tattoo collection.
“157 of ’em. Working on more. Working on more,” the Bears admirer said during the interview, a clip of which was also shared on NBC Chicago’s Instagram account.

The 60-year-old has tattooed the former Bears coach and player, Doug Plank, on the back of his shaved head. Meanwhile, a tattoo of retired linebacker Brian Urlacher is inked onto his right forearm. However, when asked about his favorite, Timmerman showed the interviewer his tattoo of Mike Ditka. He further added that the former head coach was happy to see it.
Glenn Timmerman’s tattoo journey started when he asked former Bears linebacker Otis Wilson to sign his arm to get it tattooed. While Wilson didn’t believe him, he followed through and showed it to the player two weeks later.
“He sees me, stands up, looks at me and goes, ‘Did you get it?’ I was like, ‘Yeah!’” Timmerman recalled. “He turned me around and was like, ‘Here’s a fan, guys!’”
Meanwhile, Glenn Timmerman continues adding to his collection, hoping to add autographs from current players like Caleb Williams and D.J. Moore. There is, however, one autograph missing in the Chicago Bears superfan’s tattoos. While Jim McMahon denied Timmerman’s request to sign his body, he hopes to convince the former quarterback someday.
