At the 2025 Arizona Bowl, Snoop Dogg turned a simple sideline interview into a viral moment. The clip quickly took over social media, stealing the spotlight from the close game between Miami (Ohio) and Fresno State.

In the second quarter, with the score tied at 3-3, Fresno State kicker Dylan Lynch launched a kickoff toward the end zone. Mid-interview, Snoop spotted the ball and quickly moved to catch it cleanly. “Oh that’s me, that’s me. Watch out, that’s me,” he shouted, diving and jumping back up with a smile, his loose shoe adding to the viral moment. Fans praised his “cat-like reflexes” and quick athleticism.

Snoop casually kept the interview going. “I’m just doing it all today, baby. The ball had to get caught,” he joked. Fans flooded social media with hundreds of comments. One tweet said, “Wtf… Snoop is our guy!! Give him a spot on this team,” while another called it the “Snoop Bowl.” A different fan joked that Snoop is always “doing side quests.”

Since 2024, the Arizona Bowl has teamed up with Snoop Dogg, making his Gin & Juice brand the official sponsor. His presence has brought fresh energy, attracting attention to a game usually watched only by hardcore fans. Fresno State beat Miami (Ohio) 18-3, but most of the postgame talk focused on Snoop’s surprising sideline catch.

Snoop’s Arizona Bowl moment concluded a busy holiday football week. On Christmas Day, he appeared during the NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show for the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings, streamed worldwide on Netflix. The show featured Lainey Wilson on a white sleigh, K-pop trio HUNTR/x performing fun holiday songs, and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli singing “White Christmas” with his son Matteo.
