The description for the third Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer has possibly surfaced. Although the upcoming MCU film is a year away, there is considerable anticipation surrounding it. The film will see Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom go up against the Avengers, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Namor, and the Wakandans.
Avengers: Doomsday’s third teaser description revealed
As it was widely rumored, the third teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday revolves around the X-Men. Now, Nexus Point News co-founder and editor-in-chief Demet has posted the third trailer’s description on X (formerly Twitter). If correct, the footage will show Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, Ian McKellen’s Magneto, and James Marsden’s Cyclops.
However, it won’t feature the other announced mutant actors, including Kelsey Grammer’s Beast, Alan Cumming’s Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn’s Mystique, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
Now, as per the description, it begins with “dark scenes” in the X-Mansion before cutting to a metal plate that reads, “Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.” The camera then moves to show Professor X in the distance, sitting in his wheelchair. Professor X’s wheelchair rolls into the frame.
After this, a King chess piece is seen floating in the air while Magneto is blurred in the background. Subsequently, Magneto and Professor X reach out and hold hands before the camera shows the latter’s attire, a blue jacket with a black and red X symbol. Professor X continues holding Magneto’s hand and smiling before the camera pans to the latter, who returns the smile.
The footage cuts to Cyclops, shown wearing his suit — a yellow visor, dark blue tights, and yellow utility straps and belt. He removes his visor, revealing his bloodied/muddied face, before unleashing an optic blast while a pair of big metal legs, implied to be those of a Sentinel’s, move behind him.
The above teaser with its rumored description could be released online next year, following the first teaser’s pattern. Meanwhile, Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
