Victoria Beckham Looking To Create ‘New Version’ of Family — Source

Victoria Beckham is ready to reset, with a source saying she aims to leave a “toxic situation” behind. The former “Spice Girls” member wants the family’s 2025 turmoil to stop defining them.

Her Netflix docuseries landed, David Beckham earned a knighthood, and Inter Miami clinched a title. Yet, the feud headlines with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz lingered. Therefore, the plan is simple for 2026. Draw a line under the drama and move forward together, calmly and deliberately.

Victoria Beckham wants to put ‘heartbreaking year’ for family behind them, per source

Closer reports the designer sees the new year as a hard pivot. As one insider put it, “Vic is determined that 2026 is going to be a new year.” The source added, “She just wants to put what was a horrible and heartbreaking year behind them.” Additionally, the aim is to stop the rows “casting a gloom over everything.”

However, the rift was evident across key moments. Brooklyn missed David’s 50th birthday and didn’t publicly mark his father’s knighthood. He also skipped celebrating his mum’s docuseries. Moreover, the Beckhams were reportedly absent from the Westchester vow renewal for Brooklyn and Nicola. Still, Victoria and Brooklyn’s ties remain on display in small gestures. Recently, she posted a photo of stockings for all four children at her parents’ fireplace.

Meanwhile, the former Manchester United number 7 is aligned. “David is 100 per cent with Vic on this,” the source said. He wants progress, not stalemate. “It serves no one to be continuing like this,” the insider noted. He would still prefer a face-to-face with their eldest, yet he won’t let it overshadow 2026. The insider stated, “‘He’d still be pushing for a face-to-face with Brooklyn, as he still feels they could resolve it.”

For Victoria, David, and their eldest son’s dynamics, acceptance is the working strategy. The source explained, “She has to be the one to put on a brave face.” Furthermore, this isn’t exile. “This isn’t about cutting them out,” the insider stressed. Instead, it is about refusing to let the feud “have power” over the family. Finally, there’s a forward look. “She needs to accept things as they happen,” the source said, hoping Brooklyn sees a path back to a warmer, steadier home front.
