Sydney Sweeney learns about pogs from The Housemaid co-stars

The Housemaid’s stars Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone schooled Sydney Sweeney about pogs. Entertainment Tonight shared a brief video of the trio discussing the popular ’90s fad called Pogs.

Seyfried asked, “Do you guys ever have pogs?” To which a bewildered Sweeney asked, “What are pogs?” Sklenar replied, “It’s like a ’90s thing. I remember you had the heavy one that you bang on the top and they all go all over the place.” Sweeney, still confused, reiterated, “No, but what is a pog?”

Sklenar explained, “They came in a tube, like a cylindrical tube, and they were like discs—little discs.” “Like rubber discs,” Seyfried interjected. The It Ends With Us star continued with his masterclass on pogs. He shared, “They were made out of a thin wood, and then there was a master pog that was like a heavy metal.”

Seyfried asked, “Didn’t they have a rubber around them?” Morrone, who had been quiet so far, said, “Oh yeah,” and slammed the air to explain the working mechanism of a pog. Picking up on that, Sklenar detailed, “And you would slam it. They would go all over the place.”

The Mean Girls alum contributed, “And the heavy pog was thicker.” Sweeney, who was quietly listening to her co-stars, politely remarked, “I need to Google this.” Seyfried replied, “You do.” However, Sklenar continued the discussion, attempting to explain the pop culture of pogs to the Euphoria alum.. He stated, “They were big for a good five to seven years.”

Morrone commented, “I used to collect them.” “Same,” the other two replied in unison. “Like probably 1995 or the 2000s,” Sklenar added. Seyfried chipped in, “We used to make our own.”
