Selena Gomez on speculation about her voice: ‘I don’t really care’
Selena Gomez has finally answered her fans’ questions about her apparent voice change over the years. During the Instagram Live on December 16, which was reposted on X (formerly Twitter), the newly married singer said that it had happened for a reason, but she is no longer bothered by it.
“Yeah, I’ve gotten this question a few times. The voice thing. So, sometimes when I’m on — nevermind,” she said, per PEOPLE, before adding, “There’s no excuse. I don’t really care.”
However, she quickly clarified her stance, saying, “I think my point is, is that sometimes things happen. The actress then added that she “gets weird. My throat kind of swells inside sometimes. That’s all.”
The “Only Murders in the Building” star even thanked her followers for being open with her and looking out for her. “I’m glad y’all are being real with me on the Live. I appreciate it though, for real,” she said.
And this was not the only question that the Rare Beauty founder has answered in the last few days. In fact, she also recently answered another light-hearted questions about her face. In the video, she shared that someone asked her, “How do you shave your mustache?”
“I was like, ‘I totally get it,'” Gomez said, giggling uncontrollably. The 33-year-old then revealed that she “actually has melasma, you guys, and a pimple. It’s from the sun, so obviously wear sunscreen.” Gomez again cleared that “It’s actually not [a mustache]. It’s my melasma. I take care of it and treat it, but yeah, it’s there.”
