King Charles has only one grandchild’s photo on display at his house — report
King Charles and Queen Camilla currently reside at Clarence House. It is not often that anyone gets to see the King’s private working rooms; however, it happened recently when the Queen hosted a charity afternoon tea. The charity event was meant for Surviving Economic Abuse and gave a rare glimpse of the King’s private working area.
As reported by Radar Online, the photos taken inside the royal house captured a photograph of Prince George. The framed photograph featured the King cradling his grandchild, George, during his christening ceremony.
The desk also featured a photo of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, along with another black-and-white photograph of himself as a child. Charles has time and again spoken about the importance of personal history and staying true to one’s legacy. In a conversation on the BBC show “The Repair Shop,” the King discussed in detail how much he adored his grandfather’s clocks.
These photos truly showed that the King values beautiful memories and places great emphasis on personal affection and a connection across generations.
Amid this, it was also noteworthy that even though Charles has five grandchildren in total, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids, their photos were not visible inside the house. Reports suggest that it’s been around 3 years since the King has seen the kids of the Sussexes, namely Archie and Lilibet.
