Wiles released a personal statement via her official X account and called the Vanity Fair interview a “hit piece.”

Susie Wiles responded to Vanity Fair in a detailed personal statement issued on her official X account. She called it a “framed hit piece on me” and strongly condemned the explosive interview.
Wiles’ wrote in her opening statement that the “disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest President, White House staff, and Cabinet in history.” In fact, she alleged that the Vanity Fair piece painted President Trump and the White House in a negative light.
She wrote, “Significant context was disregarded.” Wiles continued, “this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team.”
Wiles assured that nothing would derail her from her “relentless pursuit of Making America Great Again.” She penned, “Trump White House has already accomplished more in eleven months than any other President has accomplished in eight years.”
She added “That is due to the unmatched leadership and vision of President Trump, for whom I have been honored to work for the better part of a decade.” Also, she shared, “None of this will stop our relentless pursuit of Making America Great Again!”
For those unversed, Wiles made some strong statements about how Trump has an “alcoholic’s personality.” Also, that he governs with the view that “there’s nothing he can’t do. Nothing, zero, nothing.” In a statement to PEOPLE, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt supported Wiles. She stated, “Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has helped President Trump achieve the most successful first 11 months in office of any President in American history. The entire Administration is grateful for her steady leadership and is fully united behind her.”
