The tragic death of acclaimed film director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer, has put the spotlight on their son, Nick Reiner. The same has resulted in the resurfacing of an age-old anecdote that involved the 32-year-old stealing money from his parents to have sex. The screenwriter had previously admitted to lying to his folks in order to extract money for sex. Years later, the story has started to make rounds on the internet once again.
Nick Reiner’s sex story resurfaces amid parents’ death
During his 2017 appearance on the Dopey podcast, Rob Reiner’s son, Nick Reiner, revealed that he lost his virginity to a sex worker after coercing his parents to fork out $200 to fund the act.
“I was just looking at the different [Craigslist] profiles, and this one [profile picture was] just an ass shot. That’s the only thing that was her profile picture — and it had a number. I called her up when I was about 14 or something, and her going rate was about $200,” noted Nick.
“This is the part of the story that I don’t usually tell, but I’ll tell it anyway,” he added. “I got $200 from my parents. I didn’t say, ‘Hey, look, I’m going to be with a [sex worker] tonight. Do you think you have an extra $200?”
Nick then described his experience with the sex worker in question, noting, “I was like, ‘This is awesome. [I lasted] 15 seconds … I kind of felt like s**t, but I was like, ‘That’s awesome. Then I realized I had more money on me, and I called her back. She came for a second time. I never asked her name, and I never really got into any specifics of anything.”
Rob Reiner’s son then disclosed that he had consumed a “pot brownie” before engaging with the said sex worker and therefore, was in an “extremely blazed” condition. Nevertheless, his intoxicated state had little to do with his decision-making as Nick “still would have done it if I was sober.”
