The Voice Season 28 Unveils 6 Finalists

The Voice reveals its six finalists for the live shows, with most chosen by the coaches and a few by fans. On the final night, two rounds took place, with the contestants performing two completely different types of music. After the judges’ feedback and audience votes, Tuesday night will crown the winner.

The finalists for The Voice Season 28 announced

Typically, the coaches pick the contestants eligible to move forward into the live shows. However, this time, The Voice used a different approach, including the audience as well in the decision-making process. Four contestants were chosen by the audience, while two wild-card entries were picked by the audience. Here are the names of the contestants who represented the four coaches:

  • Aubrey Nicole represented Reba McEntire
  •  Jazz McKenzie represented Michael Bublé
  •  Ralph Edwards represented Snoop Dogg
  •  Aiden Ross represented Niall Horan

The two contestants chosen by the audience were DEK of Hearts from team Horan and Max Chambers from team Bublé. The final six contestants competed in two rounds, where they performed a contemporary and a classic song, respectively. Below is the list of the round-wise performance of the finalists.

Round One

  • Dek of Hearts – “Fishin’ in the Dark” by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
  • Max Chambers – “Your Way’s Better” by Forest Frank
  • Aubrey Nicole – “’Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson
  • Jazz McKenzie -“Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)” by Phil Collins
  • Aiden Ross- “Golden Hour” by JVKE
  • Ralph Edwards – “I Want to Know What Love is” by Foreigner

Round Two

  • Aubrey Nicole – “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia” by Reba McEntire
  • Ralph Edwards – “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars
  • Jazz McKenzie – “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo
  • Aiden Ross – “The Winner Takes it All” by Abba
  • Max Chambers – “One Moment in Time” by Whitney Houston
  • Dek of Hearts – “Let it Go” by James Bay

The winner of The Voice Season 28 will be revealed today on NBC.
